Please tell us a little more about your business.

"The Cabaret is a nonprofit organization dedicated to elevating and promoting the cabaret art form by entertaining, educating and engaging audiences and artists through world-class performance. Broadway stars, jazz singers and European chanteuses share their stories and songs in our intimate venue, seating up to 200 people. Additionally, The Cabaret allows others the chance to take center-stage and receive the star treatment by renting the venue for their own events – including weddings and receptions."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"The Cabaret boasts a unique atmosphere unlike anything else in Central Indiana. Old Hollywood meets industrial-chic at The Cabaret's Christel DeHaan Theater, a space transformed by luxe details and high-end furnishings. Located in the historic Metzger Building in downtown Indianapolis, The Cabaret is the perfect place to celebrate.

Both bridal parties and Broadway stars have enthusiastically expressed delight in our space – from the theatre itself to the dressing rooms backstage. Many artists have praised the venue as the most beautiful, breathtaking and sophisticated spaces they’ve performed. Broadway’s Jessica Vosk even claimed her dressing room to be both nicer and bigger than her NYC apartment.

In addition to hosting their event in a celebrated venue, couples at The Cabaret will also have the opportunity to work alongside a seasoned professional with over twenty years of experience in the event industry."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"We were named the 2018 Best New Performance Space by Indianapolis Monthly and received the 2018 Artful Impact (ARTI) Award from the Arts Council of Indianapolis."

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"Every couple is different, and their celebration should reflect that. The Cabaret is thrilled to have the opportunity to use our unique space to help couples design a one-of-a-kind event that reflects who they are down to the last detail."

What do you love most about working with couples?

"The Cabaret staff loves seeing the joy that couples feel knowing that for one night, their love takes center-stage."
