"We've used Kayla three times already. Each time is an amazing experience and the end product is everything you could ask for. She has done our delivery shoot for our son, our engagement and now our wedding photos. I've always been skeptical about hiring photographers because some people can just pick up a camera and say they are a photographer but Kayla impressed me and changed my mind about that from the start. The first time we used her services, my wife went into emergency surgery to have the baby early. We called family and then called Kayla (in the middle of the night) and she even beat some family to the hospital to capture that memory for us. Over time, it has come to feel like one of our (super talented) friends is celebrating important moments in our life with us and capturing it in the process. 10/10. Please tell us a little more about your business.

"Weeping Willow Photography is an organic theme portrait studio specializing in weddings and newborn photography. We are known for our unique products such as our wooden thumb drives that comes with a wooden box with your favorite image on it. We also teach photography classes at Make South Bend, Genes Camera Store and at our studio."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"My clients say it best. They always tell me I’m sweet, kind hearted, great with children, great at directing what to do in front of the lens and creative! The images are more like works of art showing off milestones in your life. We always get to know our clients to where we feel like friends even before the big day!"

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"We will be at Art Beat this year! We also have a huge heart for animals and will be donating our services for a local humane society this year."

What inspires you as a photographer?

"The thing that inspires me most as a photographer is capturing beauty in peoples' lives! There’s beauty everywhere just waiting to be captured!"

What do you love most about photographing weddings? 

"The thing I love most about photographing weddings is getting to capture my clients' beautiful moments in their lives! I really get to know my clients! Their wedding is normally the start of our relationship and then moves to them having kids. Then I get to document their children as they grow!"
