This Michigan Wedding is Half Rustic, Half Chic and All Romance: The Real Wedding of Jessica Miller and Cali Crawford

Cali and Jess went out for coffee after they hit it off on OkCupid. Instantly, they knew there was a spark! Cali proposed to Jess at the same coffee shop they went to on their first date. One month later, Jess popped the question to Cali surrounded by their furry forever friends in the comfort of their own home!

Jess tried on seven dresses before finding the perfect gown! She adds, “In all honesty, everyone thought that Cali was going to show up in a jumpsuit or some basketball shorts because she is a very athletic person. But with the help of her fashionable mother and sister, they were able to pin-point a dress that fit her just right.”

This pair is so like-minded, they both wanted to have a unique, rustically chic wedding. Pinterest, Instagram and suggestions from friends helped them stay within budget while accomplishing their dream ceremony!

Thanks to the vendors' hard work on the beautiful tablescapes, florals and photos, this couple believes their wedding couldn’t have been better. “Truly, our wedding could not have been any more perfect for us,” Jess gushes.

Advice from the couple

Jess and Cali urge future couples to let the small irks and irritations of planning slide off your shoulders. “As I am sure many people say, don’t let the small things bother you. For example, if a guest is bringing a person you don’t know, it doesn’t matter. At the end of the day, all that matters is the people who are standing next to you and that showed up to support you on such a special day.”
