An Offbeat & Romantic Grand Rapids Affair: The Real Wedding of Mallory Wolfgram & Daniel Schrager

Photos ByDavid Weflen Photography

Mallory and Dan met each other when they were studying photography in college. Three years after meeting, Dan proposed to Mallory at his childhood home during a visit with his parents. Since Mallory has worked in the wedding industry for seven years, she knew what she wanted and what she didn’t and chose to plan over a long engagement. However, it was easy to plan since most of the vendors were friends or family members!

What We Love

When beginning to plan, Mallory started with smaller details then moved her way out to the larger things, and her work really helped bring her vision to life. Mallory explains, “I started out by creating a mood board focused on the floral color palette and built off that. Once we had the vibe we were looking for, I gave creative control to my manager who read my mind and made everything come to life.”
