An Open and Airy Engagement Session: The Engagement of Cheyenne and Alistair

We all dream of marrying our fairy tale prince. And when high school sweetheart Alistair proposed to Cheyenne while on vacation at Disney World, she knew her prince had come to whisk her away into the sunset of happily ever after. 

Cheyenne admits, “In hindsight, I can now see how some of the things he did beforehand should have clued me into what he was planning, but at the time, I didn’t even see it coming. We were at the Polynesian Resort exploring the beach and next thing I knew he was down on one knee proposing.”

Cheyenne loves her ring because, “It’s a very simple, elegant ring which is exactly the type that I wanted.” We know that simple and sweet can make the best smile. Cheyenne even says that Alistair picked out the ring all by himself. This prince knew just what his true love wanted!

Their photography session happened through true love’s luck. Cheyenne says, “I found Rich Aguilar at the Bridal Experience put on by Sand Creek Country Club. He was having a contest for a free engagement shoot at that bridal show and we were the ones that won it. However, we were very happy with the work that he does that he will be our photographer for the wedding as well!” We love the dedication and passion Rich has with his business, Aguilar Photography!

Planning the big day has been a large task, but Cheyenne isn’t worried with her beloved at her side. “Our wedding isn’t until July 2020, so I think that has helped a lot. Knowing that I have time to figure things out makes it much less stressful. Alistair has also been very helpful as well. Luckily, we have pretty similar taste in things, so picking out what we want has been a breeze.” Cheyenne says that when she got engaged she didn’t have previous plans for her wedding, but through the help of Pinterest, she’s been able to make her dreams a reality.
