"I really cannot say enough good things about Olivia! From the first phone call with my fiancé, her knowledge, confidence and energy immediately convinced us! Then keeping in touch through the planning process, I just felt like I'd made a friend, to the point that I had to keep reminding myself during the wedding day that I hadn't known her forever. She's just so easy going, friendly and has a way of making even the most self-conscious bride feel comfortable, confident and pretty! Guests at our wedding were even telling us how efficient and awesome our photographer seemed. consider Olivia for your wedding, you won't regret it!"

Please tell us a little more about your business.

"I am a metro Detroit based photographer specializing in weddings and brand photography. In 2010, I started my photography business, but since then I've also completed my bachelor's degree in communication and worked a 9-to-5 job as a project manager at an automotive company. While photography will always be my first love, I'm proud of the outside experiences that have allowed me to create a really unique experience for my clients. I firmly believe that my background in project management is what makes me such a great wedding photographer. Because when it comes to running my business, being behind the camera is only half the job!"

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"My driving motivator in my personal life and business is the fact that there are such important, beautiful moments all around us. We just have to take a moment to notice them. I believe that photography should be about making you feel comfortable, significant and gorgeous, while always taking you back in time to that specific moment and memory. That's why my goal with every single client is to connect with them on a personal level and to capture their wedding as it is unfolding. Of course, I guide and pose my clients so they feel confident and comfortable, but I love being able to photograph brides who value authenticity and those little candid moments."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"I love to serve my clients, so it always brightens my day to hear how happy they are with their photos."

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

"Honestly, the relationship that I have with my husband. The day that I got married was literally the best day of my life and I love getting to capture that same experience for my brides. The anticipation, the tiny details, the start of the rest of your love story. Being able to relive that excitement and making your wedding day as smooth and magical as possible is what I'm all about!"

What do you love most about working with couples?

"My favorite thing will always be photographing couples in a way that is uniquely authentic to who they are. While this means that I might not get to work with as many couples per year, I wouldn't trade it for the world. I love to hear about when they met, where their first date was, how he proposed and then using this knowledge to work it into their sessions and photos. It's the little ways that we can personalize their photos that make all the difference in the world."
