When Ally and Peter began their planning journey, they originally thought they wanted an elegant and classic wedding with a muted palette. But, once Ally started looking for inspiration, she began to fall in love with bright and bold colors! Ally admits, “The minute I decided to shift our color scheme, I started to get way more excited about every detail, and knew I was on the right track.” Throughout the décor, Ally and Peter wanted to include those bright colors without making the space too overstimulating. We think they balanced elegance and color perfectly with ivory cloths, ivory plates and gold silverware and colorful napkins and water goblets. Some of our favorite touches are the bright floral appliqués on her veil and her hot pink shoes!

What We Love

Unfortunately, Peter’s mom passed three years before he and Ally got married. However, they had a beautiful opportunity to honor her during their wedding. “The pastor who officiated our ceremony was a long time friend of hers, and had the idea for me to place a rose on her dedicated seat when he asked the guests to be seated. I’m so glad we were able to recognize that she was with us in spirit, and absolutely missed on that day,” Ally shares.
