When Sarah Sharrard of Shades of Teal Design opened a new venue, she just knew she had to design a style shoot to show it off. With the venue's rustic, industrial vibes and the quaint surrounding town, it was only natural that a theme of 'Pure Michigan' emerged. The photographer Samantha Owsley of Oracle Visuals says, "I was drawn to the unique 'Pure Michigan' theme and her vision to pull it off with Michigan made products, artists, and classically Michigan-esque treats and details." Not only did the state influence these special touches, but it influenced the color palette as well. Samantha adds, "It was inspired by the Michigan cherry blossoms." From the state-shaped RSVP cards and cookies to the classic Vernors ginger ale, we can't help but feel a sense of hometown pride with this sweet Pure Michigan shoot!
