How did you know Grand Rapids was where you and Tania wanted to tie the knot?

"Well, we only had a couple of months to plan the wedding, so when my wife took me to go see the Greenhouse at the Downtown Market, she immediately fell in love with it. It was the FIRST and ONLY venue we looked at because she was set. The fact that we were both raised in the Mitten and had most of our family locally, made it even better!"

Did you use any local features in your wedding?

"We tried to use as many locally owned vendors for our special day. One of our favorites was our custom flower wall, provided by Heavenly Designs. They were amazing to work with and they set everything up!"

What would you tell couples who are looking to get married in Grand Rapids?

"Our city is home to us and although small, it has so much to offer–from incorporating one of our beautiful four seasons with your wedding, to as easy as having your special night underneath the starry lights in a drop dead gorgeous greenhouse. You make your day special, the city you pick is just there to watch it all come together."
