A Rustic & Elegant Vineyard Celebration: The Real Wedding of Caitlin and Dylan Post

High school sweethearts Dylan and Caitlin met through family friends and the rest is history! After several years of dating, Dylan decide it was time to propose. On a walk with their dog Bandit in the State Park, Dylan got down on one knee and asked for Caitlin's hand in marriage!
 

We love all the detailing that is in Caitlin's dress. "It was actually the first dress I tried on that my mother had picked out. She knew it was the one," Caitlin shares. The floral details lean into the rustic themes of this wedding while the silhouette and simple skirt create an elegant air that elevates the wedding and complements Caitlin's natural beauty! 
 

The first thing Dylan and Caitlin did after they got engaged was look for a barn venue that fit what they were looking for, which happened to be the very first one they toured. Caitlin explains, "They offered pretty much everything we needed! Which made the process much easier for everyone!" We love that they accented the darker atmosphere of the reception space with a light blush palette to help balance this space. The vineyard portion of this venue created such a beautiful backdrop for this ceremony and for the stunning photos Danielle Schury Photography captured of this happy couple!
 

 

What We Love

Since one of them played such a large role in their proposal, Caitlin and Dylan wanted to include their dogs in their big day. Dylan had one of their dogs' faces on his cufflinks. "Our favorite addition to our wedding was our cookies we gave to our guests. Which had our two favorite things, our dogs!" Caitlin gushes.
 

 

Advice from the Couple

Caitlin and Dylan advise, "The week of the wedding, try to forget about any more planning! There is nothing else you can do! If anything does go wrong, you and your spouse are the only ones that will know! Enjoy your special day!"
