When Williams Orchard started renovating to be able to host weddings, Alesha of Follow Your Arrow Photography knew she had to do a style shoot there. Having shot many fall photo sessions there, Alesha knew it was the perfect opportunity to help the owners advertise their transformation. "My vision for the shoot was to complement the orchard. It started as an apple orchard and is now starting to transition into a wedding venue," Alesha explains.

It turns out that this orchard was the perfect place for Alesha to do a style shoot. "I love anything vintage and moody," Alesha raves. "That's exactly the vibe the barn is being turned into." Most of the décor they chose was used to make the viewer think of apples and the orchard. The only struggle was that the orchard was being renovated as the shoot happened, so there were parts that were unfortunately unusable.

The group decided the color scheme of pink, red and peach would emulate the colors of apples. For the décor, everyone brought in different parts of the shoot to make it one cohesive theme. Alesha says, "The florist used pampas grass and fans to complete the boho feel that's trendy. She also added mercury glass objects and gold accents to complement the vintage feel." We think everything in this shoot came together perfectly!

"I wanted a show-stopper dress. Something vintage and boho but still classic," Alesha gushes. After seeing this gown on Facebook, Alesha knew it was the one for this shoot. We love the bold lace detailing and the simple silhouette! It looks great with those chic shoes from Badgley Mischka. The hair and makeup team styled wispy hair with a natural airbrushed makeup look. But the look wouldn't have been complete without a bold red lip color!

Now, let's talk about that stunning cake! "The cake was a plain white cake with gold edging to go with the gold accent colors." Alesha shares. "The bottom layer was brushed with the lightest pink color." With the addition of the red leaf details and apple on top, this cake was perfect for this orchard shoot. We also love the accent of wood on the top to match the venue beautifully!
