We are in love with this colorful shoot that brings brightness and boldness to a whole new level. Christina Hudacin of Special Occasion Designs by Chrissy says, “From the beginning, I knew that I was going to be using bright colors to really show my personality in my style of work and I knew I was going to use this white lace bowl stand for the centerpiece that I had stumbled upon at a flea market. To start my color palette, I had fallen in love with the free spirit rose during a fall wedding and knew that was going to be my focal color and I also knew I had enjoyed working with the protea flower during a summer wedding last year and wanted a chance to work with them again, so I started to pull in that color as well and build from there.”

After choosing some gorgeous flowers as sources of inspiration, Christina focused in on a colorful palette that would illustrate those organic colors coming from the flowers. She says, “I absolutely love color and love to play with lots of colors to show how you can add so much fun and pop to your event and don’t necessarily have to stick with just a few select colors for your wedding.” We love that the team incorporated so many points of interest within the shoot from using the Pantone Color of Year: Living Coral, velvet linens and metallic decor.

The venue was the perfect choice for this color scheme. It highlighted the lush details of the shoot without being understated. Christina adds, “The venue was just gorgeous with all the marble, big picture windows, architectural details, natural light and it just fit the overall vibe and feeling we were wanting for the final product.”

The shoot's coordinator, Amanda Craft of Magical Moments Event Planning, says, “For the dress, we really wanted to go with an elegant, vintage style so we worked with Blue House Bridal on coming up with a style that best fit the shoot. We decided to use a mermaid style dress with lots of lace. Simplistic yet elegant. We wanted to use big statement accessory pieces, so we used a “blinged out” hairpiece, dangling diamond earrings and beige diamond shoes to match which were also provided by Blue House Bridal.” The bridal look was just as stylish as the shoot itself, showing that brides can pull off big statement pieces and not just small delicate pieces.
