Travel Across Indianapolis With This E-Session: The Engagement of Mackenzie and Matt

Mackenzie and Matt hit it off at the Tin Roof, a bar located in downtown Indianapolis. When it was time to pop the question, Matt gathered their families at his parent’s lakehouse in Michigan. When Mackenzie saw her parents arrive in the driveway, she was surprised—but not as surprised as when she saw Matt down on one knee behind her!

This couple went together to pick out a ring. “The ring is very dainty—I wanted something unique, simple and vintage," Mackenzie gushes.

Being comfortable during this session was a high priority for the pair, so they knew they wanted to hire a photographer to reflect that. Their cozy outfits pair well with the casual setting of their home, then get dressier for their downtown date. We love the variety of settings and styles this couple has! 

With no prior ideas for their wedding, Mackenzie and Matt went into planning with a clean slate. The process has been smooth, and they have nearly all of their vendors booked already. Mackenzie notes, “We’ve really enjoyed talking to friends who have recently gotten married to see what they loved most about their wedding, or what they would have changed if they could do it again.”
