Have chevrons overstayed their welcome? Nope. We don't think so! They're fun, fresh and versatile and can provide the perfect funky detail to your wedding day décor. Don't get carried away with it, though, as the zig zags can definitely be overwhelming when used in excess. Here are some ways to incorporate this print that's so in vogue without it taking complete command of your design!

1. Table Runners/Table Cloths

This is the perfect way to weave chevron into your design plan. When placed on the table, it serves as a backdrop for your décor and will be downplayed but still present. (You can use it as an aisle runner, too!)

2. Stationery

Save the dates, invites, programs, place cards, etc. There are quite a few paper products that are used leading up to and on your actual wedding day, so there are plenty of opportunities to incorporate chevron in this way. This works great for table numbers, and any banners or signs you may use as well.

3. Place Settings

This one may seem a bit odd, but using place settings with a chevron patter will provide a pop of this fun design element in an unexpected place. When set against solid table cloths and place mats, your place settings will act as a strong statement in your design plan.

4. Fashion

If you're feeling a little crazy, add some chevron into the day's style choices. A chevron wedding dress may be a little off-the-wall for most brides, but that's not to say it can't be done. It can be woven in subtly through lace detail, or overtly with color. It can be included through the bridesmaids' dresses as well, but be sure that you choose a cut that will be flattering on your entire wedding party, or allow your bridesmaids to choose their own dress style with the same print. Throw it on the fellas as well. It looks great on ties!

5. Cake

Put it on one tier, or deck out your whole cake in chevron! This is one wedding detail where this print can't be overdone.
