“I can’t begin to explain how perfect my wedding was due to the help of the amazing women who run The Lodge. From start to finish they were making sure I was taken care of, and reminding me of the things I needed to make sure my day went smoothly. I cannot recommend them enough. From the beautiful venue to the staff, it couldn’t have been better."

- Jamie Martin Beamer, Bride

The Lodge at River Valley Farm and The Loft on Isanogel give the best options to any bride. Between farmland and barns, these venues provide beautiful landscapes and extra amenities like a fully equipped bridal cabin that will make your wedding that much more memorable. These venues are family-owned and operated to provide the very best professional and personal experience for your big day!

Read on to hear from Venue Director Brooke Smith about why The Lodge and The Loft provide the very best for you.

Please tell us a little more about The Lodge and The Loft.

"Our vision for a perfectly executed wedding begins the moment you sign up to be a Lodge or Loft bride. We will ensure you receive the wedding that you have always dreamed of. With big decisions to be made, it is helpful to have a team that can walk you through the process. Planning sessions complete with on-site visits, email accessibility, included decorating and rehearsal time, and on-site staff for the day of your wedding and rehearsal, we know you are in great hands from the beginning to when the final guest leaves."

What sets you apart from others? Why should a bride choose you?

"What sets us apart from others in our industry is the ability to make a bride’s vision come to life. Our venues are not cookie-cutter. A bride's wedding should be as individual and unique as the bride herself. Our venues are totally private with only one wedding at each location. Perhaps the best way to describe our business is full service. While some venues have lost sight of this, we continue to treat each wedding as if it were our own."

Do you have anything exciting that you would like to share?

"Our venues have been featured twice in M Magazine, once in the Muncie Star Press and The Loft on Isanogel was chosen for the cover of the WeddingDay Barn Issue in 2019. We are also proud to give back to our community by hosting non-profits several times a year, The Little Red Door, Best Buddies of Ball State University, Delaware County Special Needs Prom and Big Brothers/Big Sisters to name a few."

What inspires you to be in the wedding industry?

Our inspiration to be in the wedding industry is simple. Do the best job and do the job like we would like it done for us. No shortcuts. No lack of desire or willingness to go the extra mile. In an industry that is becoming inundated with pop-up venues, true customer service and professionalism always will set us apart and inspire us to be the best in the industry.

What do you love most about working with couples?

"What we love most about working with couples is the excitement is contagious and the love between each couple is heartwarming. In a world that sometimes forgets that there is goodness and love, we are reminded every day. Each couple is fun and unique and you never know what their vision is for their perfect day. It’s satisfying to see their dreams come to fruition."
