Nestled in a lesser-known part of Indianapolis lies an extraordinary venue fit for any theme. The Ivory Foundry's owner, Beth Waterman, wanted to create a stunning shoot unlike any other, and this neutral venue was just the space! And Mika of Mika LH Photography perfectly captured Beth's vision.

"We designed the shoot around the venue. It's a forgotten area of the city, and we wanted to show it off," Beth explains. "I really wanted to do something a bit more urban and colorful." The Ivory Foundry's natural lighting and artwork already fed into the urban theme really well. All Beth needed to do was bring together a group of dream team creators to help this space match the vision she had in her head.

Every detail of the shoot was meant to reflect Indianapolis city life. Beth gushes, "We wanted to tie in graffiti as much as possible, so we designed the invites with bright colors and unique lettering." The shoot comes together beautifully in the space. With the white walls, the bright colors truly pop right out of the images at you. We especially love all the different textures and colors in the brides' bouquets and the fun touches, like the balloons from LoveLight Events!

Those cookies are to die for! We love the way the baker was able to use the icing to make them look like brick walls with graffiti. And this cake is a true show-stopper! The bottom tier is so creative and colorful, and the top tier's simple line work keeps the cake from being too over-the-top. Putting colorful florals at the top of each tier makes the cake even more beautiful!

Beth knew exactly what she wanted for the bride in her shoot. "We wanted unique gowns that had movement with modern cuts," Beth shares. We love that the four dresses and the jumpsuit Sophia's Bridal provided bring their own personalities into the shoot. Each has a unique shape that complements all the brides while not overwhelming the colorful shoot! The purple heels are a great touch, too! We also love the floral details on the groom's shirt.
