On 3, Ready? Set? Break!

Ever look at your wedding as having put together your own All Star Team? You want the best players working together towards one goal, creating a winning and successful event from start to finish. Don't you desire a team that pulls together by offering their best effort for your big day?

Teamwork provides strength in numbers. Why limit your photographer to just taking photos when he can effectively suggest ideas on making the flow smooth? Does the florist only care about her flowers? What about the DJ? Why should he care about the theme the wedding designer created? Is there a reason the caterer should be aware of your color palette or theme? This market is filled with talented industry experts willing to jointly collaborate for your event. This mindset only brings you victory from all sides.

Consider this, the overall stress level can be reduced if everyone is actively working together when time, weather or other unforeseen obstacles get in the way of production. The months involved in the planning process leading to your wedding day atmosphere can be pleasing and genuinely joyful.

You don't have to just be a spectator. You are part of the team as well. Should it matter if you choose to create or select your own guest favors in order to save money? Saving money is great! However, be sure to include those involved in your decor so you don't loose the cohesiveness. There is nothing wrong with involving many players as long as the team captain is effectively communicating the established playbook to his team mates.

Have you decided to appoint your "coach" by hiring a wedding coordinator or design consultant? This team captain can certainly keep every detail in place. The game plan is created as you layout your vision. Your coordinator then effectively taps into each valuable player you've contracted. Not only will you get the most for your money, you will have many creative minds working together, brainstorming each area of expertise they bring to the table.

I've had the opportunity to be on many great teams. Teams that work together well and succeed while others attempt to go at it alone and fail to create the overall look anticipated. Your team-minded players will take pride in having worked together to get the job done effectively while keeping your vision first and foremost.

So huddle up together with your event partners, consider appointing your team captain, and make it a winning experience!
