Coupling: Ami meets Rich...

Their story started several years ago in the small town of Ligonier at West Noble High School. Rich was a few years older than Ami, but they crossed paths in the halls from time to time, never really speaking to one another. After all he was the cool Senior/punk skater boy and she was just a lowly freshman.

Fast forward to February 2007. Technology and fate had their paths cross once again. While surfing the pages of Myspace, Rich came across Ami's profile after noticing she had attended West Noble High School. One thing lead to another, and they essentially go on a blind date to Chili's restaurant.

She was pleasantly surprised as she saw this handsome, very nervous, nicely dressed man sitting in the booth. From that moment on, they have been nearly inseparable. An engagement soon followed in June with a 2008 wedding plan in the making.

Setting the Scene: Design and Decor

During the initial consultation the couple's style became very evident. Stylish and unique design was the approach taken. Ami gathered great and interesting ideas while Cher offered complementing style with her Design Plan. The look would be unexpected. Rustic elegance with a touch of bling! Vivid monochromatic aqua tones would add life to the chocolate brown palette. Custom square cocktail tables were clothed in chocolate burlap boasting iron stands with outstretched arms of candles and dancing crystal beads. Willow branches added to the ambiance and vineyard setting. Soft seating around decorative poles allowed a quick rest from dancing. Fabric draping and Asian lanterns of various shapes and sizes strung throughout the otherwise barren space.

The food provided by CK Catering was incorporated as a key element of the decor. Themed station buffets, personalized with the couples memories and favorites, proved to be fabulous with unique presentation!

Making "Merry" Memories

The charming setting Willow Harbor offers was the perfect location to hold this casual, family celebration. Close family ties were present for the entire weekend. Beginning with an intimate ceremony on Friday, with close friends and family, Saturday continued the celebration with the casual tent reception for about one-hundred guests.

Rich's son and Ami's brother provided the music for the ceremony playing an acoustic guitar. Ami's father offered to provide all the reception music. Late in the evening, her Dad sang "The Man in Love with You" By George. This touched Ami's heart and sent tears to her eyes.

Guests were invited to take a walk back through the years by visiting the lounge area where nostalgic photos encircled the cozy candle lit seating area. Memories were shared throughout the evening.
