Whimsical Garden Romance in Saginaw, Michigan: The Real Wedding of Taylor & Zachary Fila

After stepping foot on the grounds of their venue, Taylor was immediately inspired to plan a specific wedding for her and Zachary. “I always had an idea in my mind for a Midsummer Night’s Dream wedding, which I could feel at the grounds of the wedding venue,” Taylor shares. From there, their whimsical, romantic garden wedding came to life. To offset the luscious green of the numerous plants, Taylor and Zachary chose to incorporate a crisp white that can be seen throughout their day. This gives the whole scene a regal look, especially with the addition of their new family crest on the pillows, napkins and matches!

 

What We Love

To infuse some of the magic from Shakespeare’s work, Taylor and Zachary incorporated a few unique elements into their wedding. Going along with the twinkly lights and flowing drapery, they had a fortune teller to entertain the guests during their cocktail hour. They also tried to put a focus on hiring local vendors to help make their unique day a success!
