White & Airy Bliss in Syracuse, Indiana: The Real Wedding of Kara & James Rannigan

Instead of going the traditional route of having the bride wear all white, James and Kara decided to take a different approach to their wedding style. Kara fell head-over-heels for a pink, floral gown. “My pink dress made me want to include white in all the other ways,” Kara shares. With that idea in mind, the happy couple ended up choosing a venue that had an open design with plenty of windows to allow for natural light to fill the room. The combination of those two things inspired Kara to dream up an airy wedding day. Due to excellent recommendations and finding vendors who they clicked with—including Enchanted Illusions Photo+Film—James and Kara were able to bring their white, airy dream to life!

What We Love

Kara and James hired a wedding painter to capture a scene from their ceremony. And bonus—it doubles as artwork for their home as well!
