Wind & Water Style Shoot

There’s no doubt the state of Michigan has certainly lured many artists and creatives with its romantic beaches, blue waters and endless stretches of beautiful shoreline. For Rhiannon Bosse of Rhiannon Bosse Celebrations, it was no different. Inspired by a vision that had lived in her heart for several years, Rhiannon set out to make her dream of a "Wind & Water" style shoot come true. She knew that the awe-inspiring qualities of Lake Michigan were just the ingredients she needed for her vision: a sophisticated palette of beachside blues, grays and ivories and the natural, picturesque movement of wind and water.

Aiming for simplicity and also authenticity, Rhiannon pulled together an amazing team of talent, complete with a charming married couple. “I try my best to always bring real life couples on board with editorials because the love between a real life couple is always so authentic and genuine, making it shine through in all portraits,” Rhiannon says.

The simple yet elegant Adrianna Papell gown was a nod to the water-inspired hues with its dusty blue color and beaded, flowing silhouette. Desiring texture and movement in the bouquet, Rhiannon incorporated flowing streamers, blue delphiniums, an abundance of ivories and touches of blush and navy.

In keeping with the overarching design, Coral Pheasant designed a romantic stationery suite featuring soft shades of blue, blush and ivory.

The eye-catching watercolor cake, designed by Sweet Heather Anne, was the perfect complement to this romantically windswept, lakeside affair.
