Eileen of Eileen Call Photography and her friend, Abbie, of Abigail Gowin Photography not only wanted to create their first style shoot together, they wanted it to be fresh and unique...something that took into account the trending colors for winter weddings, but with an added twist. Eileen says, “In my heart, I was picturing something bright and romantic with lots of color—something that people could really utilize within their own weddings. I wanted it to feel as real as possible.”

As for the venue, the team desired a real, outdoor wedding venue. The beautiful Coxhall Gardens delivered with a manicured setting, beautiful locations and plenty of room for creativity. “We loved that the tent had been taken down by this time of the year. The bare bones of the structure really created awesome lines and framing,” explains Eileen.

The trendy, romantic yet unique dress was the bride’s own. “The cape veil really gave it that extra pizazz,” says Eileen. “The lace and veil of her dress complemented really well with the metal structure and wicker chairs in our setup.” The look was complete with fresh, natural makeup and soft, natural curls to allow the bride’s true beauty to shine.

Crystal Corbin of The Crystal Collection selected gorgeous Cala Lillies for their deep wine color and clean shape. Lots of greenery was also added to help balance the orange hues of a November in Indiana. “Making green the base with accents of tawny port and blush also paved the way to adding in the blue elements,” explains Eileen. “Mixing metals was also something that I wanted to incorporate.”

As one of Eileen’s most favorite elements, the dessert cart delighted with brunch-like delicacies including donuts, blush pink macarons from Circle City Sweets, a beautiful raspberry pie and white, iced cupcakes with little blush pearls on top, both created Bronte Dunlap of Good Food She Said.
