A Woodland Boho Celebration in Fort Wayne, Indiana: The Real Wedding of Kylee & Luke Anspach

Since they both love the great outdoors, the first thing on Kylee and Luke’s list after getting engaged was to find a locale with a natural setting. They ended up hosting their wedding at the Heisler family woods, which provided a unique space for their big day and told the story of their family. Once they had the venue squared away, they decided on a woodland boho theme with muted autumnal colors and plenty of wood embellishments. Along with the help from their vendors (who were mostly family and friends!), Kylee and Luke put their own touches on their celebration through the stationery, s’mores recipes, signage and so much more.

Advice from the Couple

“Find a partner that you get to enjoy the process of planning with. This is the starting foundation of your whole lives together. Enjoy it. Don’t sweat the small stuff. Create something that is magical together and reflects you both as a couple. Don’t just do things because everyone else is doing them. Just because it’s traditional doesn’t mean it’s right for you and your partner. Really ask each other what matters and why. Cut out the things that don’t matter and add the things that do. And finally, spread your day out so you can pause and be in the moment. One of our favorite things about our day was how easy it felt. We were never rushed and we got to enjoy every piece of it.”
