This '20s Inspired Indianapolis Wedding Has Grand Art-Deco Style: The Real Wedding of Jenny Reber and Eric Gettelfinger

Photos ByCourtney Sinclair Photography

Jenny first swiped right on Eric’s profile on Coffee Meets Bagel. After the two matched on the app, they soon hit it off in real life! When the couple was ready to take the next step, Eric tricked Jenny into thinking she was going to attend a holiday party but pretended they were running early. To “kill time,” the couple stopped by the bar they had gone to on their first date, and Eric surprised Jenny by popping the question. Their friends and family soon arrived and it turned into a memorable evening!

This dress was the first--and last--Jenny tried on! “I tried on a handful of dresses after it, but nothing seemed to compare,” she gushes.

What we love

Jenny was inspired by the Art Deco style of the 1920s but wanted to stay on budget. Most of this wedding's decor pieces were reused, recycled or thrifted giving every piece a story!

Advice from the couple

Jenny’s advice to engaged couples is to do what makes you happy, even if it defies tradition. She adds, “Take risks and be creative! If something inspires you, let it!”
