The Vision

Black and white combine with various shades of pink in our Central Indiana digital cover shoot. Traci Fuqua Perkins, owner of LoveLight Events, merged modernity with drama and glamour. “In my heart I was picturing tablescapes that had unique designs and lots of various textures. I also wanted to incorporate unique designs such as neon signs and balloons as they are new trends that are currently being incorporated into weddings,” Traci says. Filling this vast space with intricate décor turned this blank canvas into an extraordinary wedding venue to be captured by the talented Tushona Monét of Tushona Monét Photography.

The Venue

The Sixpence was chosen as the perfect venue due to its versatility, including both indoor and outdoor ceremony and reception areas. The blank white walls and openness of the rooms allowed Traci and her team to create the design they saw in their heads. But it was the small details that won them over. “You can tell a lot of attention to detail was put into the design of the space,” Traci raves. “I love the black trim throughout the space. The lighting in the space has both modern and glam touches.”

The DÉcor

“It was important to use luxury linens that would touch on the glam and drama we wanted to bring into the design,” Traci says. LoveLight Events paid great attention to detail all the way from folding each napkin differently to placing roses and ribbons along the back of the chairs. To incorporate the modern styles of décor, Traci included neon signs from Simply Stunning Creations and a plethora of balloons. An additional touch to this style shoot is the gorgeous live painting of Art by Elise Kate, which brings even more flair to a special day!

The Looks

In true glamorous fashion, five dresses from Sophia’s Bridal and Tux were used in this shoot. It was important for Traci to not only express each of the themes for this shoot but also provide dresses that worked in the fall/winter seasons. Since the dresses were more of the statement pieces, the brides’ hair and makeup, styled by Hair by Morgan, was kept simple to highlight how striking natural beauty can be.

The Cake & Desserts

Nothing is more stunning than that cake! We are in love with the drama and uniqueness the black and pink confection from Cakes by Madonna brings to the shoot. Cake pops and chocolate-covered strawberries, pretzels and cookies were used to decorate the tables and serve as place cards. Though each dessert is different, they are all tied together with the gold foiling.

The Stationery

We all know invitation suites set the tone for the wedding. They're the first clue your guests get to know what to expect on your big day! The invitations and menus by Darling Design Co. are absolutely stunning and perfectly reflect the glamour and drama of this shoot.

The Florals

We are in awe of those fabulous floral arrangements created by Tori Leigh Events. “It was also important to showcase that even in the fall/winter seasons, you can still have big blooms for your special day,” Traci explains. A combination of various roses and field carnations were used to contribute to the glamorous look. And they bring the drama from the brides’ bouquets to the luxurious tablescapes!
