Rustic Romance in Three Oaks, Michigan: The Real Wedding of Matthew Tobel & Justin Potter

Photos ByBlackbird & Rye Photography

Matthew and Justin's wedding at 19 North by Froehlich's was a testament to preserving original beauty within a unique, timeless space. Embracing a palette of greens and grays, complemented by rustic warmth, their accents of gold added a touch of elegance! Opting for a non-traditional wedding party, their siblings—two sisters and a brother each—stood alongside them. Speeches from all siblings brought emotional depth and laughter to the evening, while Matt's cousin serenaded their ceremony, making that monumental moment all the more special. Their wedding rings, crafted from a gold chain belonging to one of their late grandfathers, symbolized the enduring nature of love, honoring the beautiful legacy passed down through generations!

What We Love

The catering was an easy decision for Matt and Justin! "We had a tasting scheduled with Colleen, the owner and head chef of Froehlich’s, as part of the wedding package. She requested some of our favorite dishes and restaurants to create a menu that we would love. We received so many compliments on the food the night of our wedding!" the couple shares. The cake and other yummy desserts were also crafted by Froehlich's Bakery!
