When Chanel Wood of Just Plan It dreamt up this Beauty and the Beast-inspired style shoot, she knew she wanted to emulate the romance and dream-like spirit of the classic Disney movie. Chanel says, "The vision for this photo shoot was to bring the Disney movie to life. It was an idea I’ve had for quite awhile." The thought and time Chanel put into this shoot shows, too. She teamed up with this incredible vendor team to create the perfect atmosphere for this fairytale-come-to-life.

Of course, the shoot had to take place at a library because of Belle's obsession with books. The Cincinnati Public Library ended up being the ideal setting. Chanel says, "The venue was dimensional and perfect. It had the ballroom style room with the large, wooden doors, which moved into a terrace where buildings from the downtown environment could be captured. Then, the library filled with books was the perfect setting." The team created a rich palette with deep, royal tones of berry and blue to set the shoot in that princess-like fashion. This included gold accents like chargers and flatware matched with clear glassware for a flawless look. It is hard to miss those special decor pieces of a golden hand-held mirror, clock and candlesticks to represent those infamous Beauty and the Beast characters.

To match the royal decor, the team used a gown from Kathleen's Bridal that could make any bride look like a princess. Chanel says, "I wanted the dress to have the same amount of “poof” as Belle did, but did not want the yellow color. I still wanted the full wedding feel." The bride's hair and makeup added to the look with subtle, natural touches including a sweet updo and soft, glam makeup.

One detail that cannot be overlooked in this shoot is the stationery. Madison Stationery combined deep blue hues with roses and swooping lettering for the picture-perfect invites. They even flaunt the well-known line, "Be Our Guest." This design was also highlighted in the cake. 80 Kakes created a blue and gold cake complete with a rose for a mouth-watering aesthetic.
