The Dress Blog
Another week, another Friday! Is it just us or is October flying by? It feels like we were just celebrating the first day of fall yesterday. However, the quicker time goes by, the more pretty weddings we get to swoon over on Instagram!
Karla Neu of True Color Photography wanted to collaborate with her friend, Kelsey Hann, and her new rental company, Simply Elegant Events. Together, they dreamt up a modern, country styled shoot at Hidden Vineyard Wedding Barn, desiring to add a new twist to a classic style. “Kelsey really took it from there with her expertise in wedding design. She rents out the most amazing farm tables, so we thought those would work perfectly!" Karla says. "From the soft floral designs layered with geometric candleholders, vintage goblets, succulents and a modern menu, everything went together in such a lush way!”
Nicole of Nicole Jansma Photography hails from the South where bridal portrait sessions are very popular. She thought Chicago posed the perfect place to do the same.

When a bridal salon offers sizes 2-20, at prices from $500-$2500 and carries over 20 designers, a bride can be sure to find the dress of her dreams, on her budget and from the designer she admires. The bridal salon that does this? Beloved Brides, found in Fishers, Indiana. This off-the-rack bridal boutique enjoys helping brides find the designer dress of their dreams at a fantastic price.
With the first day of summer behind us, we have officially entered the most popular wedding season! And that means engagement sessions, outdoor weddings and new, trendy styles galore! That's exactly what this week's Insta-faves are all about!
There’s nothing quite like the atmosphere of a wedding. Whether you are someone who is focused solely on the celebration or zeros in on all the details that make the ceremony and reception uniquely the couple’s, being able to partake in something that truly represents two individuals beginning their life together is something that can’t go unnoticed. It is, after all, an important aspect of the day!
Violet, of Violet Short Photography, had an idea for a very royal style shoot. This was no easy undertaking, as finding a place to shoot such a romantic and regal idea seemed impossible. But, with the famous line “let them eat cake” in mind, Violet soon knew exactly where to go.
