An Ultra Modern Style Shoot at Loft 310
Jenna Nelson | November 8, 2016Inspiration comes in rare form at unexpected moments. Actually, inspiration often meets us in ordinary, day-to-day moments and catch us by surprise. That's exactly what happened to Dionel Fisher, owner of The Mittentog. As Dionel was browsing dresses on Rent the Runway, she came across one gown that stood out to her. The simplicity of the dress and geometric sheer cut out in the neckline incited Dionel's creativity. She collaborated with Krystle Waivio, owner of Krystle Waivio Hair and Makeup and with Alex from Events by I. Candy and they started to design a stylized wedding that focused on a minimalist palette with clean lines and an organic feel.

The Wedding Story of Karlee & Kerry Renz
Carly Squadroni | October 25, 2016Karlee and Kerry Renz first met back in February of 2008, during Karlee’s sophomore year at Saint Mary’s College and Kerry’s senior year at Notre Dame, when their paths crossed at an off-campus get-together at the house of a mutual friend. By the end of the night they had exchanged phone numbers, and the rest is history. The Wedding Story of Marina & David Piechocki
Jenna Nelson | October 5, 2016Marina Grishin first took notice of David Piechocki at work when he gave an Elvis performance during a work function. His performance opened the door to a friendship and later, led to a first date. David, meanwhile, had his eye on Marina from the first day she started work. From joining the bowling team to attending a Pilates class, David did everything he could to get a moment with her. Marina says she knew David was the one for her when he agreed to join her on her 14-day trip to Europe—she asked him during their very first lunch together. “I wanted to see how spontaneous he was!” says Marina. “He did not disappoint and booked his trip immediately. We have been inseparable ever since.”
Whimsical Watercolor: A Fairytale-Like Cover Shoot
Jenna Nelson | October 4, 2016All it took was a quick glance at a watercolor wedding invitation and we fell head over heels proving that love at first sight is quite possible. What was once simply a method of painting has transformed into an artistic direction for weddings and it's not just limited to the stationery, either. The watercolor trend has seeped into wedding cakes, flowers, table décor and even linens. Once our editorial team started exploring the possibilities of watercolor, it turned into one of those can't-stop, won't-stop ordeals.
Autumn Inspired: A Cover Shoot at Le Meridien
Jenna Nelson | September 29, 2016Creating a modern-yet-elegant stylized wedding was the objective of this cover shoot, held at Le Meridien in downtown Indianapolis. Brooke Tichenor, the planner at savoir faire events, was tasked with pulling together a cover shoot that leaned toward contemporary styles while maintaining a classic and sophisticated feel. The venue was the first component Brooke secured and the boutique hotel set the tone for the remaining details including the autumn-colored shades that were used throughout.
The Wedding Story of Richard and Rodica Godlewski
Jenna Nelson | September 28, 2016Although we love ourselves a grand-scale affair with large ballrooms, tents or barns, intimate weddings certainly hold their own when it comes to being every bit as wonderful.
